"Simplify"
This woman rocks!
I just returned from a CKC class with Cathy Zielske--I am so inspired to get going and make meaningful pages. Cathy gave us two minutes to finish this sentence:
i scrapbook because...
(this is what I came up with)
I want to make a difference in my family.
I want my kids to know how much I love them.
I want my kids to know who I am.
I want to leave a legacy.
I want a creative outlet.
I want to tell my family's story.
I want my kids to know how much I love their father.
Cathy's quote: " I scrapbook because I have stories and photos and a voice that needs to be heard."
What a lovely person she is--very eloquent, kind to everyone who talked to her, and funny as hell. Thank you, Cathy, for reminding me to simplify and to remember why I scrapbook.

I figured out why so many people are visiting my blog...
Someone has erroneously posted a link to this blog on their site, announcing that I was giving a digital scrapbooking kit away. I am very sorry to say that this is untrue. In fact, I have no idea how to use a digital scrapbooking kit, let alone design one.
I'm sorry to disappoint you but I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Bonjour, tout le monde!
I just discovered that people from all over the world are visiting my website. Hello, guten abend, bonsoir, buenas noches, konnichiwa, etc...
Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you are having a nice day in your corner of the universe!
(Please ignore the fact that I look like a phantom in this video--it was recorded under duress in the wee hours of the morning and under very harsh lighting conditions, i.e. my kitchen table lumieres.)
